Aesthetically, the Dodge Hornet GT and R/T are nearly identical, with the exception of a few subtle differences – such as different wheels. But under the hood, the two compact crossover utility vehicles are quite different, as one is a traditional gas-powered vehicle and the other is a modern plug-in hybrid turned up to 11 thanks to signature Dodge performance. Back in January, RAM unveiled the newest member of its lineup and the next installment in its electrified fleet of vehicles. That new model is the 2024 RAM ProMaster EV, an all-electric version of the popular work van. This new electric vehicle offers everything fans of the ProMaster nameplate have come to expect from the cargo van, with the added benefit of having an electric powertrain. As you’ve likely heard by now, especially if you’re a Dodge brand enthusiast, the traditional versions of the Dodge Charger and Challenger were discontinued after the 2023 model year. But fans of these two classic muscle cars shouldn’t have to wait too long for the next-generation versions of the nameplates, they’re just undergoing some massive changes before release. How so? We’ve got a little good news/bad news for you, unfortunately. The bad news is that production of all V8 HEMI-powered Dodge Durango models will cease at the end of the 2024 calendar year, following in the footsteps of its siblings the Charger and Challenger.
